Micro Whey Active contains high quality whey protein of biological value BV104 obtained from dairy products and with an amino acid profile that is very similar to that in human muscle. Biological value is an indicator that tells us to what extent food satisfies the intake of amino acids in humans. Food that has a biological value of 100, we can eat twice less than food that has a biological value of 50, and yet enter the same amount of the most important building blocks of muscle, or amino acids. This value depends on the amino acid profile of the food and the ability to digest it, and is defined by the ratio of preserved and absorbed nitrogen.
Micro Whey Active contains 84% protein isolate (25g) and a very low proportion of fat (0.9g) and carbohydrates (1.2g) per serving. It is rich in essential amino acids, especially branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), and also contains protein parts such as glycomacropeptides with glycogen function (using glucose from amino acids such as glycine, valine, isoleucine and alanine).
The protein in this product improves protein synthesis, enables fast muscle recovery after intense physical activity, increases muscle mass and strength, which is why it is best to use it immediately after training or other physical activity. Research has also shown that the use of whey protein before meals reduces appetite by some 50%. It also increases bone density, and improves immunity and heart function. It contains an amino acid called cystine, which the body uses to produce glutathione (a powerful antioxidant, perhaps the most important for the human body) that can prevent the harmful effects of free radicals.
Usage: Consume one scoop (30g) with 300ml of water immediately after training.
